We didn't have a cupcake pan so we used regular cereal bowls and flour tortillas. They turned out perfect and this was so easy to do! Definetly worth a try.
Note: another tip, you can add taco seasoning and I alays add refred beans to the mix. It makes more meat mixture.
This recipe was so easy to make. I added taco seasoning to my meat and it kinda made it a little spicy with the salsa mixed in.
I cut this recipe in half and used fajita size tortillas instead of regular. And to the meat/salsa mixture i added about a half cup of sour cream. Very good! Will definitely make again.
Instead of salsa, we mixed taco seasoning with the burger. We also found that wheat tortilla shells worked better than flour tortilla shells---didn't tear as easily. They were cute and our 3 year old loved them!
I used ground turkey instead of beef and since I had read other comments about it being bland, I used salsa and also added some taco seasoning to the meat. I though it was really yummy but it difficult to eat.
this was a hit with my very picky 4 yr. old! I will make it again. Maybe make it spicier w/ jalepeno slices for the adults!Super quick & easy to make:-)
I added taco seasoning and some refried beans. I halved the recipe for just my husband and I and it was the perfect amount. The only complaint I got was that they were difficult to eat... they were messy. Our plates were both cleaned though! I think next time I will mix all the toppings together and then put them in the cups. At least that way, you get everything in every bite. These were a fast, easy dinner solution.
kind of bland.
I also just used the recipe for the taco cups and went on the meat, etc as I usually do. I used SMALL flour shells. The trick is to keep them HOT (hence the microwaving) when you form the bowl. I folded them in half and pinched them into fourths to place in muffin pan. Then I formed them around to fit and pressed the tops outward to keep the "cup" open. Really fun for the kids to eat!!
