It was a lot of work for "tacos" they were difficult to eat too...the shell just crumbled. I wouldn't recomend the ranch on top didn't taste good (and I love ranch)
My almost 5 yr old daughter and I absolutely loved this recipe. I have to admit that I threw in about 3/4 of cooked rice that I had left over in the meat when I added the salsa...I also added about 1/2 cup of the cheese into the meat mixture. Other than that, I made it to the recipe's specifications and this is REALLY GOOD, and FAST to make. It's a nice alternative to traditional taco's with a different and very good flavor from the salsa. Another salsa bonus is that you can make it mild - hot, your choice. Highly recommended!
We all like this receipe!
Have made this several times now - quick and easy meal for me and my roommate. can get a bit messy if the tortilla shell breaks. My suggestion would be to eat it in a bowl.
Really tasty and so pretty. Our daughter came for a quick dinner and she was most impressed. She is going to fix them for her family.
It was easy to make and we all loved it. It was nice because we could customize each one to our liking!
I made these for my sons 16th Birthday party! They were a HUGE hit with all the kids. This is a GREAT dinner!
The taco bowls were such a cute presentation, but not so easy to eat out of if you followed the recipe. I would suggest baking them a little longer. After the 10 min in the muffin tin, let them sit out to cool, then turn them upside down on a cookie sheet to bake for another 10 min or so. Watch that you do not burn them! This will make them easier to break up when eating.
it was really good
I made this for my family for dinner, and everyone loved them. I used my cupcake pan instead for easier handling. I will definelty make it again.
