Mini Taco Bowls

The kids will dig taco night even more when they get an eyeful of these super-cute mini salad bowls—and a mouthful of beef, cheese, ripe tomatoes and crispy, fresh lettuce.

What You Need

flour tortillas (6 inch)

lb. extra-lean ground beef

cup TACO BELL® Thick & Chunky Salsa

1/2

cup KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Cheddar Cheese

cups chopped lettuce

tomato, chopped

1/4

cup KRAFT Classic Ranch Dressing

It's for dipping and dunking and mixing-upping. And yes, for salad too.

Make It

HEAT oven to 350°F.

MICROWAVE tortillas on HIGH 30 sec. Line each of 8 muffin cups with 1 tortilla. Carefully fold back edges of tortillas, leaving opening in centers for filling.

BAKE 10 min. Meanwhile, brown meat in large skillet; drain. Stir in salsa; bring to boil. Simmer on medium-low heat 10 min.

SPOON meat mixture into tortilla bowls; top with remaining ingredients.

I AM NOT SURE OF MYSELF IF I DID THIS RIGHT BUT WHEN I PUT THE TORTILLAS IN TO BAKE MINES DID NOT COME OUT NOTHING LIKE I SEE ON THE PICTURE. IT WAS VERY HARD NOT TO TEAR THE TORTILLA WERE IT CREATED SOME SLITS. I ASLO ADD LITTLE BIT SIZE PATOTES IN AND BELL PEPPER TO CREATE MORE OF COLORFUL LOOK .

made these taco bowls children loved them husband too i did a twist to the tortilla i brush both sides with olive oil to make the tortilla easy to handle and shape it gave the tortilla a fried flour tortilla taste and thats a good flavor! just loved it children were able to help make dinner!

The family loves it and it is a super easy way to prepare and serve tacos. I do it at least once a week and wouldn't change a thing!

I used taco seasoning instead of the salsa and baked the shells another 5 minutes upside down on a cookie sheet. It was a big hit at my house even for the picky one!!!

I made this for my father, brother, husband, 2 year old son, and 3 year old nephew for lunch this afternoon. It was wonderful and a big hit. I add taco meat seasoning and about a 1/4 cup of salsa to the meat while cooking(my husband is not a salsa lover). It can be messy but is very tasty and everyone wanted seconds. Baking the tortillas really add great flavor! They are very cute as well!

10 minutes didn't seem long enough for the tortillas to harden

Very Messy!! By adding salsa to the meat, it made it taste more like chili and less like a taco.
