What You Need

1-1/2

cups HONEY MAID Graham Cracker Crumbs

1/4

cup butter, melted

Tbsp. brown sugar

pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

1-1/2

cups packed brown sugar, divided

tsp. vanilla

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

eggs

Granny Smith apples, peeled, chopped

3/4

cup chopped PLANTERS Pecans

tsp. ground cinnamon

Make It

HEAT oven to 325°F.

LINE 13x9-inch pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides. Mix graham crumbs, butter and 2 Tbsp. brown sugar; press onto bottom of prepared pan.

BEAT cream cheese, 1 cup brown sugar and vanilla in large bowl with mixer until blended. Add sour cream; mix well. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each just until blended. Pour over crust. Combine remaining brown sugar, apples, nuts and cinnamon; spoon over cream cheese batter.

BAKE 55 min. or until center is almost set. Cool completely. Refrigerate 4 hours. Use foil handles to lift cheesecake from pan before cutting to serve.

I made this cheese cake for a family gathering and everyone loved it! It's somewhat time consuming but all worth it. My daughter requested that I make for Thanksgiving, and I will. Yumm-O!

My family and I LOVE this cheesecake! It's the most requested of any dessert that I make, and I've made it four times so far. It IS time consuming, but well worth it! I haven't tried it with caramel, but it sounds yummy. :)

Very good, but VERY rich. Made this for Christmas, but only for five people, so there was a lot leftover. This makes a large cheesecake and a little piece goes a long way. Was nice with the caramel sauce.

Excellent twist to traditional cheesecake! Thank goodness I was taking it to a family Thanksgiving get-together, otherwise I think my husband would have eaten it all!!!
