"Eyeball" Cupcakes

I made this recipe two weekends in a row! I omitted the "eyeballs". The icing was very yummy!

The cupcakes were so light and fluffy! Adding dry pudding mix to cake batter is my new favorite baking tip!!

My teenaged sons and their friends LOVED!! these. They ate them up in two days!! (I could not find the green gummies at Albertsons, Walmart or Walgreens, but they were at Tom Thumb (a Safeway store).. but were sold out. I bought a substitute, but it was too small to hold the red eyeball hard candy. You definitely need the red candies and green gummies to make this work. Also, I needed 2 tubes of red icing.) Anyway, they taste absolutely perfect!

I allowed my sons to make this recipe for their cousins. They enjoyed making them as much as their cousins telling them how cool they was. The cupcakes went over better than plain old candy!!!! A win-win in my book....

These were great! I made them for my son's first grade halloween party and they loved them!! It was a little hard to find the green gummi's but we did and they looked great!! These will be a halloween tradition!

These are the best cupcakes I have ever made or even tasted, they were so good. The kids just loved the eyeball effect. I used red, green and purple gel. couldn't get the green gummy rings, so I used orange and yellow ones. They still looked great. A little time consuming if you're not used to decorating cupcakes.

I made this recipe with the Devils Food Cake Mix (how suiting for Halloween!) for my co-workers, we had decorated the office for Jeepers Creepers, everyone loved these cupcakes!

The kids in my daughter's class absolutely loved these cupcakes. If not for the flavor (they tasted great), but for mostly for the presentation. They were extremely easy to put together and I'll definitely make them again next year.

The kids had so much fun eating these, and they were not even very difficult to make!
