I made this soup on a cool fall evening and was overwhelmed at just how good this soup was. My family loved it and I gave the recipe to two of my neighbors and they came back with rave reviews. I will make this again and again. Thanks for the recipe, it was great.
I added a can of cream of chicken soup and more bacon. This only made about 3 servings so I would double it next time. It still needed something else so next time I'll play with some additional items.
This is a great recipe when you need something fast and simple to make. Kids can make this too - no stove required! You can improvise and add extra ingredients, too. It's easy to make it your own.
i added heavy cream made it a little richer and mixed in the cheese while on the stove to make it thicker. Loved it
My family really liked this, this flavors were excellent!
This was a really good, simple potato soup. I think next time I'll try adding shredded cheddar and stirring it in rather than just sprinkling it on top.
Was very good and easy. Everyone loved it!
I made this for supper tonight. The plan was to take any leftover to work to lunch. We didn't have any. It was very easy to make and didn't take very long. My 7 year old went back for seconds.
Very good, I did everything on the stove and it turned out great. I added a little more cheese to it, and a little more potato then called for. I also peeled the potatoes, chopped them and then boiled them instead of cooking in microwave. Mine did not come out thin like others did, which could be because of the extra cheese.
This soup was so good that I remembered the name and hunted down the recipe to make again tonight! I changed a few things based on what I had on hand, but even my 15-year-old who "doesn't like soup" wanted seconds!
