Loaded "Baked Potato" Soup

What You Need

lb. baking potatoes (about 2), cubed

can (14-1/2 oz.) fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth

cup milk

slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cooked, crumbled and divided

cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese, divided

green onion sliced, divided

1/4

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

Make It

MICROWAVE potatoes in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 5 min., stirring after 2-1/2 min. Stir in broth and milk. Microwave 10 min., stirring after 5 min. Carefully crush potatoes with potato masher.

RESERVE 2 Tbsp. each bacon and cheese and 1 Tbsp. onions for topping. Stir remaining bacon, cheese and onions into soup.

SERVE topped with reserved bacon, cheese, onions and sour cream.

I BAKED MY POTATOES BECAUSE I HAD THE TIME. I USED 1 1/2 LB. POTATOES AND ADDED 1 CUP HALF AND HALF INSTEAD OF MILK AND IT CAME OUT PERFECT, JUST THICK ENOUGH. I ALSO ADDED ABOUT 1/2 CUP CHOPPED YELLOW ONION TO THE BACON FAT AFTER COOKING THE BACON AND SAUTEED THE ONION JUST UNTIL TENDER.

It was very blan and it took about 10 extra minutes to cook. I would not make it again. And no one in my family liked it.

My husband made this because it looked so simple. Somehow he trashed the kitchen, used 3 bowls and 2 pans but it was tasty and completed in time to watch Florida beat LSU. GO GATORS!

This recipe was Fantastic! It was easy to make and my family kept going back for seconds! This recipe is now one of our favorite fall & winter soups. It was yummy, hearty, and it really hit the spot! Thanks Kraft! Keep them coming!

This was so easy and so good! I added a teaspoon of the left over drippings from the cooked bacon, and used Velveeta cheese. I also added a dash of celery salt. My dad loves it and copied the recipe for himself!

I doubled the recipe and did the first part in the microwave and finished it on the stove. It is a great meal. we had it for lunch the next day. It is a quick easy meal for my family. We had everything in the house and did not have to go to the store. This will be a staple in our home because we are on a tight budget.

I made this on the stove. I put about half in the blender and it thickened right up. It was still a little grainy though, I don't know what to do about that.
