My family loved this recipe! It is very easy and very tasty. Thank you
I have been making this for some time, but I use Catalina dressing, which kicks it up a notch higher in taste.
My picky 5 yr old actually ate this and asked for seconds. Thank you
i love to add my own spices to dishes like this, we no longer have small childen at home, so we added a few hotter spices to pep it up , was very tasty, loved it, made extra to take to a supper for next week.
This recipe was quick and easy and just what you would expect for a taco salad. I used iceberg lettuce and crushed Fritos. We used sour cream on top instead of Ranch dressing. I would have definitely put sliced avocados on the top if I had them on hand; will do next time. Also added sliced black olives. It was quite tasty and fun to eat!
this recipe rocks! I used bagged romaine lettuce. then onion/gr.beef. added sharp cheddar, sliced avacados, sliced black olives, a scoop of sour cream, & green chilies! I then used tostidos tortilla strips! man was this good!!
My ten year old daughter picked this out and we made it for dinner tonight! EVERYBODY LOVED IT! I substituted lean ground turkey and added a can of rinsed & drained black beans. We also used Iceberg lettuce and broken-up taco shells because we had them on-hand. EVERYONE wanted seconds, even the picky 6 year old! Thanks! We will FOR SURE make this again!
So quick and easy and it tastes great. We change out the romaine for whatever bag salad we like at the time (usually spring mix). Usually add some red onion for a little something extra. I usually try to at least use low fat Ranch dressing if not 2% cheese also and you can feel pretty good eating it even with taco salads bad reputation.
this recipe is super easy and super yummy. i used red leaf lettuce and rotel tomatoes. my husband liked it so well i had to make again for him the next day:)
I like this taco salad. It makes me think of the taco salad my mom always made for us growing up. She used Fritos instead of tortilla chips and Catalina drssing which is sweet and zesty instead of Ranch. Overall, this recipe was pretty good.
