What You Need

cups rotini pasta, uncooked

Tbsp. oil

lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces

red peppers, chopped

1/4

cup KRAFT Zesty Italian Dressing

Tbsp. chili powder

1/2

cup TACO BELL® HOME ORIGINALS® Thick 'N Chunky Salsa

1/2

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

1/2

cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Make It

COOK pasta as directed on package.

MEANWHILE, heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken. Cook and stir 6 min. Add peppers, dressing and chili powder; cook 3 min. or until chicken is done, stirring frequently. Stir in salsa and sour cream.

DRAIN pasta. Toss with chicken mixture. Sprinkle with cheese.

Variation

Substitute lean ground beef for the chicken. Omit oil. Brown meat and drain before adding peppers.

I would make this sans the chicken. We enjoyed the pasta and sauce but not the texture of the chicken with it.

Have made this a couple times, my husband is not a big chicken fan. He calls this Chicken Stroganoff with a kick.

This was a big hit with my husband. I think it was too spicy for my 2 year old. When I make this again I will only use half the chili powder and half the bell pepper. I think I may add some corn, too.

This was so easy. The hardest part is cutting the peppers and chicken. Last night I made a Kraft recipe and my son said it was his favorite. I made this one tonight, and he says this is his new favorite.
