What You Need

cups rotini pasta, uncooked

Tbsp. oil

lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces

red peppers, chopped

1/4

cup KRAFT Zesty Italian Dressing

Tbsp. chili powder

1/2

cup TACO BELL® Thick & Chunky Salsa

1/2

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

1/2

cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Make It

COOK pasta as directed on package.

MEANWHILE, heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken. Cook and stir 6 min. Add peppers, dressing and chili powder; cook 3 min. or until chicken is done, stirring frequently. Stir in salsa and sour cream.

DRAIN pasta. Toss with chicken mixture. Sprinkle with cheese.

Variation

Substitute lean ground beef for the chicken. Omit oil. Brown meat and drain before adding peppers.

This was okay. I think it would be good with ground turkey instead of chicken.

I added some Jalepenos to the recipe as my husband felt it needed something more to it. I served it and my kids loved it actually they finally cleared their plates.

Made this last night for dinner and the whole family loved it! I doubled the recipe, added a can of corn and a can of black beans. Yum!! I'll definitely make it again.

Just made this dish tonight for my husband and I and we both loved it!!! I used a little less sour cream than called for and I used fat free sour cream. I added salt and pepper to the chicken before I cooked it. It was perfect!! I agree with other people- double the recipe. We ate almost of all of it just with the two of us. You won't be dissappointed with this simple, delicious recipe!!

This is so good and easy! I added a can of diced tomatoes w/ jalapenos as well - made it spicier!

For as simple as this recipe is, it has a very good flavor. Wonderful as a weeknight meal.
