My family and I loved this recipe, even my VERY picky 4-yr old eater had seconds. And that RARELY happens. :)

I liked this recipe very much. Sweeter than what you would get in a Chinese restaurant, so we added some soy sauce. I also doubled the sauce. But still quite tasty, and two people asked me for the recipe.

I LOVE BROCCOLI AND WHITE RICE WITH EXTRA SAUCE FROM THE CHINESE RESTAURANT. I EVEN USED THAI RICE, HOWEVER, WHEN I MADE IT LAST NIGHT FOR THE FIRST TIME I DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH SAUCE TO COVER MY RICE. I THINK I WOULD NEED MORE OF THE CATALINA, HOISIN, AND GINGER ROOT. I MAY EVEN PLAY WITH IT BY SUBSTITUTING THE BEEF FOR SHRIMP OR EVEN CHICKEN. THANKS FOR IT ALL.

quick , easy and tasty I always use brown rice, try adding 1/8 teaspoon of chinese five spice while the rice is cooking , it adds a nice flavor, I was just experimenting one day.
