What You Need

lb. extra-lean ground beef

each green pepper and onion, chopped

Tbsp. chili powder

1/2

tsp. ground cumin

1/4

tsp. crushed red pepper

can (15 oz.) kidney beans, rinsed

can (28 oz.) fire-roasted diced tomatoes, undrained

can (15 oz.) tomato sauce

1-1/2

cups KRAFT Mexican Style Shredded Four Cheese with a TOUCH OF PHILADELPHIA

Make It

BROWN meat in large saucepan on medium heat; drain. Add peppers, onions and seasonings; cook 5 to 6 min. or until vegetables are crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.

ADD all remaining ingredients except cheese; mix well. Cover; simmer on low heat 30 min., stirring occasionally.

SERVE topped with cheese.

Special Extra

Garnish each serving with 1 Tbsp. BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream and a light sprinkling of chopped fresh chives or cilantro.

Add More Heat

For a spicier chili, add 1 small chopped jalapeno pepper or a few drops of hot pepper sauce along with the other seasonings.

Substitute

Substitute thawed frozen LOUIS RICH Pure Ground Turkey for the ground beef.

i used ground turkey and substituted a can if corn for the green peppers ( kids hate peppers). i also omitted the red pepper flakes. perfect. not spicy if you omit the flakes. my kids dont like real spicy

This was GREAT! We made with ground turkey instead of beef and added chopped jalapenos for extra spice. Everyone loved it, will make again.

Very easy to make and delicious. Needed some hot sauce to kick it up. Didn't want to make it too spicy for my son.

I really enjoyed this chili receipe. It was easy to make and you could season to your taste. I will make this again. My husband enjoyed it and he is a really good cook

Very Tasty and easy!! My husband thought it was a little spicy... but he is sensitive to spice. Add less chili powder and no red pepper and it would be fine for people who are sensitive. Very Tasty!! We also had cornbread instead of crackers.
