I have made these several times for school events and get rave reviews every time. I never have the chocolate for topping so I just make a dollop of the filling on top, looks great.

delicious! i made too many for a family of 4, so my son put on hiscowboy boots, got on his bike and sold each for 50 cents around the neighbohood. they were a hit and he made $6 to buy little cars. instead of the choco frosting i used the same filling and decorated the tops.

Excellent!! Everyone loved them - turned out perfect!! Instead of chopeed nuts I chopped up peanut butter and chocolate chips and sprinkled on top.

I didn't want quite so much crunch with the peanuts on top, so I used peanut chips and got rave reviews...and many requests to share my secrets. :) Thanx for a great recipe.

Gourmet-level cupcakes from a very simple recipe! The filling is very flavorful without being too rich. I really like cake without too much sugary icing...this recipe provides the sweetness without all the whipped goo!
