I've been making this recipe for YEARS and i just found it in a magazine recently. I've always used cream of mushroom soup instead of cream of chicken. I like the flavor better. And if you're finding it too dry with the recipe given i always use about 3/4 of the large family size soup mix and 3/4 of the larger size of sour cream. Always a hit wherever i go!

We used corn flakes for the topping instead of crackers and cooked it at 265 degrees for 3 hours. This recipe is absolutely delicious.

I didn't like the cracker topping, but other than that it was EXCELLENT! No leftovers after Thanksgiving because everyone loved them so much.

But I would "play around" with ingredients a little. Tasted too much sour creme. might play around w/adding a little mayo or more cream of chicken soup, more cheese?

I made this for Thanksgiving dinner and it was a huge hit! I added just a touch of paprika to give it a little kick. Will make again this year.
