This was very simple to make and very good! Everyone had seconds! I did add a sprinkle of garlic salt before I added the crackers. However, if you don't like salty things, you could leave that out. We like salt in my house! This would be really grate with onions and mushrooms too. The possiblities are endless!

This was a great recipe very much enjoyed by my family. I dont like sour cream so I used an 8 ounce package of cream cheese instead. Definetly will make again!

This is always a great "go-to" recipe for potlucks, parties or any get togethers. I, of course, add onions to this as I do to everything I make. I always use crushed corn flakes instead of crackers. I haven't tried the crackers, but it seems like they would be to dry and thick.

Love this recipe. The crackers on top give it great texture and it tastes wonderful. Won't be long before I make this again.

everyone loves this. We usually make it in a throw away pan since we make 2-3 batches at one time. Great for family get togethers. We also substitute cream of onion soup sometimes to give it a different flavor!

I made this two years ago and wasn't impressed but decided to give it another try and I was still very disappointed by this recipe. I thought that the flavor of the sour cream overpowered the dish. I used sharp cheddar but it would probably be better with mild or american since the tanginess of the cheese and the sour cream was too much. Maybe reducing the sour cream and increasing the soup would turn out better? It was slightly better the next day but overall, i wouldn't make again.
