We both enjoyed this chicken dish a lot. If I'm gone at lunch time he has a quick delious dinner to heat and eat.

I'll make again but would definitely suggest using the "jazz it up" suggestions. It was far too bland. Needs GARLIC!

Tried it with shrimp and it was great!

Pesto is an uncooked sauce made with fresh basil, garlic, pignoli (pine nuts), Parmesan or Pecorino cheese and olive oil. Tell me how to make my own in a blender ok ?. Give me the amounts of each product.

I'd make this recipe again but with modifications. We love pesto, so we kicked up the amount of pesto in the recipe to match our taste. I also updated what ingredients I'd use - we used shrimp, asparagus and black olives and topped it with Parmesan cheese. Shrimp is already cooked, so it just needs to be warmed into the dish at the last minute. I cut the asparagus into bite size pieces and and partially cooked it in the microwave before adding it to the dish.
