I made this tonight for the second time. I made the recipe as written except I added brocolli instead of using the red pepper. I also added more pesto, and added some fresh chopped garlic to the chicken. I served it with bow-tie pasta. It is a big hit with my family. Even the picky eaters loved it!

Anything with cream cheese and pasta has to be good! This was delicious! I tend to get in a rut and cook the same things week after week. This is a simple, dish and most of the items I already had on hand. Another "go to" dish, when we are pressed for time.

I was not to sure how good it would be because of some of the ratings. But it was so good. And my husband is such a picky eater and even he loved it! My 1yr old loved it too. The only thing I did different was I used fettuccine pasta, Not angel hair pasta. And I used olive oil and I cooked the red peppers by them selfs an then added them to the sauce and chicken. I also used 3 breast and more pasta. Only advice is do not take the pasta out of the water till your ready to mix it in with the sauce. I took it out early an it started to get dry so I remade some more. Once again we loved it!

I thought this was delish. I did do some things differently. For instance I cooked the pepper with the chicken, then I emptied the pan and let it cool a bit before I started the sauce, It came out fantastic.

This was the worst alfredo receipe I have ever made and will not ever make it again. I had to put in ready-made alfredo sauce from a jar to make it even edible. DO NOT MAKE THIS.

you need to cool the chicken alittle, mine was too hot, and the milk started to curtle.

I diced up some fresh garlic and cooked it in olive oil. I then added the cheeses and the pesto ( I added an extra T). I also used less milk. I thought this was great and kid friendly as well.

My husband and I liked it, but we each had to add more Parmesan cheese to our bowls to give it more flavor. I might make it again, but I'd like to try it with shrimp next time!

I have made this a few times and the sauce always comes out a bit thin but it is fairly tasty and easy to make so I continue to make it. I would agree with the user that said to buy a jar of pre-made Alfredo sauce- it would be easier and probably taste somewhat better.

My family had mixed reviews on this meal. I really didn't like it at all. All I tasted was pesto. I had to add salt and extra parmesan cheese to be able to eat it. I thought the sauce was a little too runny, too. My husband really liked it, though. He said he liked the flavor of the red pepper and the pesto together. I probably won't make this again, though.
