This was a great recipe, my husband isn't the biggest fan of chicken but he loved this recipe it has become a regular at our house.

very moist. Next time we will use a little less pesto it was a tad much. Also did not use shake 'n bake but bread crumbs and Italian seasoning. Very good.

I used bread crumbs instead of shake n bake. Made with rice and beans (or broccoli w/cheese).

This was delicious! I made it with a side of spaghetti with marinara sauce. It would also be good with the 15 Minute Parmesan Pasta (also on this site) with 2 Tbls. of pesto added. I also liked the idea of pesto potatoes.

This is what I would do to this recipe so I will make it again: I would NOT use Shake and Bake. I will take the chicken breast and sprinkle coarse gound pepper, lemon pepper and herbed powdered garlic on it. I would bake uncovered with capers sprinkled on it...then I would add the pesto and cheese and bake as directed. The flavor of the Shake and bake does not seem to go with the Pesto/ Anyway, thanks for the idea!

It was okay. The pesto did add a new flavor but other than that... I've tried it but won't make again.

this recipe is just ok...nothing special. I did like the pesto with the chicken but I'm not a huge fan of shake & bake coating, although it does make it sort of crispy. My husband liked it so I probably would make it again.
