I did the blueberry version of this recipe and my family liked it very much. I'm guessing it would be good even without the topping!

After these were in the oven, I noticed I forgot to add in the 2 Tbls. of oil. I was worried that they would be dry. They were wonderful. I make these really low-fat by using egg beaters, skim milk and no oil. The blueberry and the cranberry were really good. My company thought they were a great desert!

I expected the flavor to be more rich with all the great ingredients. The texture was delicious, but I think a little orange flavoring may be needed to boost the flavor, too mellow for me.

This recipe is so tasty, the cranberries mix so good with the orange juice. The best part is the crunchy cereal on top, gets so delicious. I added some of the frozen cranberries to the cereal mix and it make it wonderful.

These muffins would be better without the cereal/sugar topping. I couldn't find fresh/frozen cranberries so I used the Craisins dried sweetened cranberries and those worked out well. They didn't dry out the muffins. The extra topping just made them a little too candy-like. I'll leave that part out the next time.
