I'm not sure what I did or didn't do however mine came out chewy. It was so easy to make and dipping in the chocolate was a very nice treat. I made for the holidays and will make again for sure. Big hit all around.
Wonderful and very easy. The peanut brittle is crunchy, not sticky!
I've made this at least 4 time and each time I make it, I always get rave reviews! I drizzle the chocolate on top though instead of individually when I'm in a rush. I would HIGHLY recommend this recipe! Its convenient but tastes like you went through alot of effort to make it.
I have made at least 4 batches of this. Instead of dipping in chocolate, I just drizzle on top. Much easier and less messy. I need to make more!
I made this for Christmas gifts for people at work. I had to make two batches because one wasn't enough. There was a little bit left from the first batch and my husband found it. He finished all the pieces! Everyone at work loves it. I will definitely make this recipe again.
Fantastic and easy...just like all of the ratings said!
Very good and enjoyed by everyone at our cookie exchange. I would warn that I burned the first batch to a black crisp by putting it in the microwave for 5 minutes (per the directions) and not watching it. For the next batch I decreased this first step to 3.5 minutes and 3.5-4 minutes for for the second microwaving. I also doubled the butter and vanilla without any problem.
This is OUTSTANDING peanut brittle. I was nervous as I have always used recipes with raw spanish peanuts. This is sooooooo much better for both taste and color. I will make this again as soon as I can scrape the sugar off my glass measuring cup! It will make a beautiful addition to my Christmas candy trays.
Almost seems too easy to be true but it works!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS RECIPE! So easy, and I get rave reviews for it. Can't wait to make it this year. YUM!
