I entered it in my company's bake-off contest and won for best tasting! Instead of drizzling melted chocolate, I chopped it and it gave the cake a unique texture. I would definitely recommend baking this.

Although mine didn't look as pretty as the picture, it was still very good. The recipe takes some planning ahead, however it is not very hard. A great way to get black forest cherry cake without the complications. Very tasty!

This was so tasty and easy to make. I made it in a 9x13 dish, which I think works better. The icing is very soft, creamy, and YUMMY!!! Might be messy when cutting a 2 layer cake.?? All who ate it were impressed.

I made it for my husband's birthday and my kids who are lovers of Betty Crocker Cakes loved it. I'm planing to make a Straberry delight next time using the "Cherry chip cake" with straberries instead of cherries as I love straberries but, really wanted to try the actual recipe this time. I did make some adjustment to the decor (just for fun) Although I am not very good with the decor but, I think it looks fine and it tasted very good. Too bad I can't show you the final product (made a heart and wrote Happy Birthday instead of the actual decor shown in the web) all with the melted choc.

I have made this before and it was a huge hit, I made it again for my fathers birthday but used raspberry jello and fresh raspberries in the center, still it was a huge hit.

The people in my neighborhood went nuts over this cake. One couple liked it so much I made it for them as a Christmas present.

This came out outstanding. Mine came out to look just like the picture. My guests thought I bought it from the store. I like to add more cherries to the center of the cake. Cake is very very moist!! My favorite cake!!!

Quick, easy, and delicious. The only problem I had is that the top layer split in half when I refrigerated the layers (I put one on top of the other). But I nursed it, and my family loved it. I will make this cake again, this time making sure that neither layer splits.
