Good cake, not too difficult, and very beatutiful. My only complaint is that the icing doesn't suit the chocolate cherry richness. Next time I'll use a can of vanilla frosting or else try my hand at fondant.

I have made this cake twice since Christmas. Everyone ooo'd and aaah'd over how pretty this cake was. Then, after they tasted it, I became the real hero. I admit, I was skeptical when the recipe called for pouring jello over the cake. But, that's the secret weapon. It keeps the cake sooo moist and adds the mild cherry flavor to the chocolate. A definite favorite in my household. So easy to make. Thanks. Keep up the good work!

This was the easiest "fancy" cake I have ever made!! I was very worried about frosting it, but lo and behold it turned out just like the picture!! I did, however, make a second batch of the frosting because there was such a gap between the layers that I needed to fill in. So I ended up putting about one and a half batches of frosting on! It was a HUGE hit t my bosses 40th office birthday party!

I made this for Christmas for me and my family. Everyone thought I bought the cake! Everyone was so amazed that it looked like the picture, and that it just melted in their mouth. I love this recipe, I will make it again!
