This is my fourth time making this cake. I don't like charries, so i use a mixed berry or strawberry jello as well as fresh strawberries in the middle. It tastes great!!

I made this cake in a 9x13" Pan and it was great. I put the chopped cherries over the cake and than frosted it. I drizzled with melted chocolate. It was a big hit at my party. Would recommend it to anyone. Enjoy!

This cake was extremely easy to make, however it had a very strong, overwhelming cherry jello taste to it. If you can help it, I would pour the jello into the cake the night before you serve it, because when I ate some the next day, the jello flavor was more subdued. Really easy to make though.

This was a BEAUTIFUL & delicious cake!! People were accusing me of buying it. The cake was very moist with the jello infused into the cake. Since it had to set up for so long before frosting, it seemed like it took me most of the day to actually complete the cake. The end product was worht it though!

I don't know what I have done wrong but my cake doesn't turn out right. I followed the recipe 100%. The frosting seemed to be too runny when I frosted the cake. I tried to do a "crumb frost" and left cake in the fridge for 15 mins. Then I put the rest of the frosting on the entire cake. It just doesn't turn out like how nice and smooth it looks on the kraftfoods recipe picture. I think I might need a metal frosting spatula. And another thing is that when I cut the cake, there were holes/space in between the 2 layers and it made the cake fall apart. It seems like I never have luck with layered cakes. I might need to find out the tips of making layered cakes.
