I made a few changes to add flavor. I added 2 cloves garlic, 1/4 tsp. black pepper, 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, and 2 Tbs. lemon juice. As good as it was, next time I will use more

My family absolutely loved this recipe and it was so easy. My son is 7 and he had a second helping, that alone speaks for itself.
This was great! My 6 year old and 3 year old ate it. I added 1 Tbsp. of butter with the oil to make it richer. I also added 2 cloves of garlic, the zest of 1 lemon and the juice of one lemon when cooking the shrimp. It added so much flavor. I also added a bit more chicken stock like the previous person posted. We will defenitely have this meal again.
since learning of this recipe, i have fixed it about once a week for my family. this it a great meal and so time pleasing. i have shared this recipe with all of my friends. it goes great with artichoke salad also.
This dish was good, the whole family loved it. The only thing I would change is to add a little more chicken broth. The rice soaked up every last bit & it ended up being little too dry/sticky for me. BUT, overall, great flavor! I will make it again!
