Cheesy Meatball Subs recipe

Who needs pasta when it’s the meatballs and sauce you really want. Spoon into rolls, add the cheesy top and you've got subs that rival your favorite deli's.

We make the meatballs fresh from mild italian sausage (bulk) and much smaller, you get more on the bun and freeze the rest for a pasta dish, later.

I had made up some meatballs and froze them a month ago. It was a breeze to just pop them out of the freezer, cook up with sauce and load on the cheese. They were asking for seconds:)

A chef salad was the perfect compliment to the recipe. An extra is that it didn't take long to prepare but a long time to eat.

I like to use pizza sauce for a change in taste. I also used a mixture of italian cheeses with the mozzarella and put them under the broiler to melt the cheese.
