I tried this recipe last week and it was delicious. Used 1 green pepper instead of 2, penne pasta and a larger jar of spagetti sauce. My husband isn't a fan of pasta casseroles, but he did like this one. I will definitely make it again.

Awesome! Used uncooked rotini pasta (16 oz), and increased water to 3 cups and cottage cheese to 1 cup. Family approved!!!!

I make this at least twice/month and we love it. It will keep for a week in the refrigerator and makes for a quick lunch for the kids. You can substitute 8 oz of any short cut regular pasta (I've used macaroni, penne, bow tie, rotini), using the 2 cups of water and cooking 30 minutes. It turns out perfect every time and I don't need to worry about buying the "oven ready" lasagna noodles. Just use whatever pasta you have in your pantry and it works! I will sometimes add extra veggies and the kids never know. I will also add a 1/2 cup or so of pureed baby veggies (homemade or store bought) or chopped fresh baby spinach and it is a great way to get in those extra vegies. Try it!

This is a family favorite, but I changed up the ingredents by using italian sausage and bowtie noodles, no green peppers - too overwhelming. I love how quick and easy it is.

Meh, it was fine, but nothing stellar. It was easy, so I will probably make it again, but with less green pepper and definitely omitting the dressing. It doesn't add flavor - just calories and oil. I did think the lasagna noodles were a bit cumbersome. I think I'd rather use a regular "curly" noodle like campagnelle or something to get the lasagna vibe without the hassle of breaking noodles into irregular sizes and shapes.

I've made this recipe MANY times over!!! Have not found a person who hasn't liked it yet!! PEOPLE LOVE IT, AND CRAVE IT, and ask for it ALL the time. Everyone wants the recipe, and everyone raves about it being my best dish!!! LOVE IT!!!!! Best supper recipe on the planet, expecially for those who like italian!!

Our family loved this! Will break the noodles more next time, but the flavor was great for us. We didn't have any garlic on hand so we used garlic powder instead.
