What You Need

lb. lean ground beef

jar (24 oz.) spaghetti sauce

1-2/3

cups water

1/4

cup KRAFT Zesty Italian Dressing

green peppers, chopped

cloves garlic, minced

oven-ready lasagna noodle, broken into quarters

cup KRAFT Shredded Low-Moisture Part-Skim Mozzarella Cheese

It's for dipping and dunking and mixing-upping. And yes, for salad too.

Make It

BROWN meat in large saucepan; drain.

ADD next 5 ingredients; mix well. Bring to boil. Stir in noodles; cover.

COOK on medium-low heat 10 to 15 min. or until noodles are tender, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Sprinkle with cheese; cover. Let stand 5 min. or until cheese is melted.

Special Extra

Stir 1/2 cup POLLY-O Original Ricotta Cheese into noodle mixture before sprinkling with shredded cheese.

Shortcut

Traditional lasagna can take up to 2 hours to prepare. Our version only takes 35 minutes. You save almost 1-1/2 hours!

Variation

Substitute 12 regular lasagna noodles, broken into small pieces, for the oven-ready noodles. Increase water to 2 cups and cook 30 min., stirring occasionally.

My family loves this recipe! I don't use as much of the green pepper but other than that, it's wonderful. A fast meal that is great.

I'll probably cut the green peppers back to just one next time but overall this is a delicious dinner.

This is my second time making this recipe and it was a winner - again! My brother in law was amazed at how quick it was to make and the great taste. Perfect meal for when you have a house full of kids over.

I made this recipe last night for supper and it was really good, my whole family liked it, even the kids. I used 1 lb Italian sausage instead of hamburger, and I am not a big fan of the oven ready lasagna noodles so I did the instructions for the regular lasagna noodles. I will make this again!

I made this several times and my family loves it. I tried it with italian sausage like another member suggested and it was fantastic. Great to make in a pinch.
