These are so rich and creamy. I made them without the mushrooms and it was great!

Very easy to make and was a nice side dish. I thought it tasted a bit too sour, but others in my family really liked it. Will use less sour cream next time and play around with other seasoning.

I made this for Thanksgiving. The first batch, I used an electric mixer to mix them. Don't ever do that! I threw them in the trash and started over. I left all the peelings on the red potatoes and added 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper. They were soooo good!

Great basic recipe and quick and easy to make! Definitely need to add your own seasonings to taste (salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder,etc.)- I also add parsley, chives, green onions, and parmesean, and a couple tbsp butter and a little more milk/sourcream/creamcheese for consitency...so good!

I made this because I wanted to reheat in in the crock pot. I put a little liquid in the bottom of the crock to keep the potatoes from drying out, and heated for about 2 hours on High. They held well on Warm for another hour or so. I skipped the cream cheese but added garlic and they were yummy.

Made these the day before and needed to add a little more milk and butter to them - too sticky - tasted great though.
