I fixed this recipe for Thanksgiving, and I loved them and everyone at the table loved them to. I did adjust the mushrooms a little by adding some chopped onion and a dash of soy sauce when i fried them. They were super delicious and were a superb addition to the potatoes... I am making them this weekend as well and I am trying the new golden potatoes instead of red....I will let you know how they turned out....

These mashed potatoes are very good. I made them the day before Thanksgiving, but I left off the mushrooms because my family likes just plain mashed potatoes. It was really nice to just pop them in my microwave at dinner time, as my oven was already full. They were a big hit!

This was good, but it's best if it's served right away. After I reheated it, it wasn't as creamy.

I didn't make the mushroom topping. Other than that very well received and easy to make. I like having the skin left on.
