I'm glad that I read the reviews - definitely reduce the velveeta to 4oz or even 3oz. Cut the cheese in very small cubes. I added 2 cups of frozen mix vegetables and 1/2 teaspoon of thyme and 1/2 teaspoon of poultry seasoning to the chicken soup. Overall all very good, a way to stretch chicken - will make again.

I would use half the velveeta next time, but we loved it!

It was pretty good. Next time I will add more chicken and maybe some frozen veggies to give it a little color. I also just used shredded cheese and not velveeta because I didn't have any.

I love this recipe but, instead of using the whole amount of velveeta, I do half velveeta and half shredded cheddar cheese.
