Rich and tasty! The glaze took some stirring to get it to be smooth, but it did finally combine nicely.

There was too much icing and by putting the cool whip right on it the icing was too warm so it didn't hold up, I put it in the refrigerater and added the extra cool whip after the chocolate cooled, this worked much better.

It was actually pretty easy to make and came out well. The icing was too much and you could probably cut the portion in half. Additionally, the stars on the icing didn't really turn out well.

I JUST SHARED THIS RECIPE WITH A FRIEND IN NORTH CAROLINA FOR THANKSGIVING DINNER TOMORROW. I TOLD HER THAT I HAD ALREADY PREPARED THE RECIPE AND THAT IT TURNED OUT GREAT FOR MY THANKSGIVING DINNER TOMORROW. IT WAS GREAT FOR ME TO SEE HOW WELL IT TURNED OUT. I KNOW IT WILL BE ENJOYED BY MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS. (HAPPY THANKSGIVING)

The recipe states to immediately put the cool whip on the cake to make the snowflakes but with the chocolate/cool whip mixture still warm it melts teh cool whip and it runs down the side of the cake. very disappointing appear wise.

Made this for a birthday party at work. It was a HIT, not a crumb left. One guy who doesn't like cake asked for the recipe for his wife. Truly BLISSful!

The cake is soooo delicious. It came out wonderfully moist. The chocolate glaze was heavenly. However, the recipe makes too much frosting and the stars just did not work out. Next time I'll just make lesser frosting.

Beautiful presentation! Make sure that you're a fan of dark chocolate though, or else you may think the frosting is too bitter, as was my case. If I made this again, I would use a sweeter glaze. Don't be alarmed when the batter is very thick! And as with the other comments, my Cool Whip stars didn't turn out either. I just made them into dallops and it worked nicely anyway.
