Triple-Chocolate Bliss Cake

What You Need

pkg. (2-layer size) chocolate cake mix

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

pkg. (3.9 oz.) JELL-O Chocolate Instant Pudding

eggs

1/2

cup oil

1/2

cup water

cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, divided

pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, broken into pieces

1-1/2

cups fresh raspberries

Make It

HEAT oven to 350ºF.

BEAT all ingredients except COOL WHIP, chocolate and berries in large bowl with mixer until well blended. Pour into 12-cup fluted tube pan or 10-inch tube pan sprayed with cooking spray.

BAKE 50 min. to 1 hour or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool cake in pan 10 min. Loosen cake from sides of pan; invert onto wire rack. Gently remove pan. Cool cake completely. Transfer to plate.

RESERVE 2 Tbsp. COOL WHIP. Microwave remaining COOL WHIP and chocolate in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1-1/2 to 2 min. or until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring after each minute. Drizzle over cake. Immediately drop scant teaspoonfuls of the reserved COOL WHIP around top of cake; draw toothpick through center of each to resemble star. Fill center of cake with berries. Keep refrigerated.

If you are a chocholic like me this cake is for you. It's very moist and rich. You don't need to have a big severing because it's big on flavor. Next time I'll try with a buttercream frosting.

I make a "chocolate overload bundt cake" with this base. I add one cup of chocolate chips also to the batter. To frost, I make a chocolate buttercream with: 1 stick butter, 1/4 cup shortening, 4 oz cream cheese, 4 cups powdered sugar, 3 Tablespoons Ovaltine chocolate malt drink mix and 2 or 3 tablespoons chocolate syrup. cream butter, shortening, cream cheese. Add sugar, then the rest. Beat for 5 minutes. Divine flavor. I frost the top and sides with that, then drizzle the ganache on top and down the sides. I chop a chocolate and white chocolate candy bar to garnish.

I made this cake for a get together with my girlfriends, it was a huge hit. This is the most decadent cake that I have ever tasted. I can't even bake a cookie, and it turned out just like in the picture. This cake will definitely be a regular desert at our house. I give it a 5 star

Absolutely loved this cake! I made it with a white cake mix,white chocolate pudding, and white chocolate chips instead of the milk chocolate and it was amazing!(my husband doesn't like milk chocolate). I am going to try this cake again with lemon and white chocolate with the raspberries in the middle next week

Very good and chocolatey. I cut the pieces and drizzled the topping on so it was warm. Very good.

Very, very Delicious! It is very rich and so I recommend small slices. For a chocolate lover, this is great!
