The batter was a little too thick, so I added a little buttermilk to thin it just a little. It baked really well. There's lots of flavor, but the cake isn't too rich.

The cake is so moist and fudgy. I didn't have room in the refrigerator for the whole cake, so I didn't use the drizzled chocolate but cream cheese icing instead...fabulous with the chocolate mixture drizzled on individual slices w rapberries!

i made this cake for my sister's birthday party. everyone liked it vey much. it came out very moist and smooth. i would make half the amount of sauce than what is asked in the receipe. it was a little too much.
