I made this cake for my daughter's sorority dinner. Instead of the raspberries, I used strawberries, putting the smaller strawberries in the center of the cake, and letting the large strawberries appear to be coming out of the cake. I drizzled the frosting over the strawberries, very lightly, then over the cake, and then over strawberries that I had surrounding the cake. Not only was it a beautiful cake, but it tasted wonderful! I'm making it again for Thanksgiving.
