Triple-Chocolate Bliss Cake

What You Need

pkg. (2-layer size) chocolate cake mix

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

pkg. (3.9 oz.) JELL-O Chocolate Instant Pudding

eggs

1/2

cup oil

1/2

cup water

cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, divided

pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, broken into pieces

1-1/2

cups fresh raspberries

Make It

HEAT oven to 350ºF.

BEAT all ingredients except COOL WHIP, chocolate and berries in large bowl with mixer until well blended. Pour into 12-cup fluted tube pan or 10-inch tube pan sprayed with cooking spray.

BAKE 50 min. to 1 hour or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool cake in pan 10 min. Loosen cake from sides of pan; invert onto wire rack. Gently remove pan. Cool cake completely. Transfer to plate.

RESERVE 2 Tbsp. COOL WHIP. Microwave remaining COOL WHIP and chocolate in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1-1/2 to 2 min. or until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring after each minute. Drizzle over cake. Immediately drop scant teaspoonfuls of the reserved COOL WHIP around top of cake; draw toothpick through center of each to resemble star. Fill center of cake with berries. Keep refrigerated.

This cake was a big hit. My family just loved it and it is very easy cake to make. The only thing I will change the next time I make it is the fruit. We did not eat it fast enough and the fruit began to ferment. I am going to leave that off the next time.

This is now my standard birthday cake recipe for myself. It was so delicious. I won't have anything else on my special day! I had doubts about the icing with melting the Cool Whip, but it came out like a dream! It gets real thick and fudgy as it cools.

This is the best chocolate cake recipe! But I made a couple of changes to it to cut calories and fat: instead of the 1/2 cup of oil I used 1/2 cup of apple sauce, and I used light sour cream. It was still very rich and chocolaty and it smells soooo good!

THIS IS THE MOST AMAZING CHOCOLATE CAKE EVER!!! My family LOVES this cake SO MUCH that we call it "THE" cake, and we make it OFTEN! Also, I LOVE telling other people about it and SHARING the recipe! (The only thing we do differently is that we don't do the stars...) If you have not tried this cake yet, YOU HAVE TO TRY IT!!! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!! :)

My Friend gave me a recipe just like this. I lost it and looked on Kraft, when I found this recipe I was soo happy. We tried making a double batch but it didn't work very well. So don't try making more than one batch at a time it doesn't mix very good. I am making this recipe a lot now. Thanks

These are a 10 STAR rating!!! This is the most requested cake from my future in-laws that we have it every month. It's very rich but so worth the calories. I am going to try the Chocolate Bliss Caramel Brownies for a co-workers birthday tomorrow. I can't wait to see how they turn out.

Even I had to wonder about the cake mix, instant pudding and sour cream mixture. But it turned out great! It was very moist and so easy to make. I however used strawberries instead of using the rasberries. It was very good.
