Made this for my 12-year-old daughter's birthday and everyone enjoyed it. Haven't baked a cake in years and this turned out delicious and beautiful.

After reading the reviews I made a few notes on my recipe: only 1 cup of milk in pudding, GENTLY fold in cool whip, only add 1 1/2 cups of cool whip, not the whole tub. The cake turned out awesome - no issues with runny frosting etc. I made this cake for a friend's birthday and she said it was the best! You would think the peanut butter would make the frosting really rich, but the cool whip helps keep it light! Be sure to buy INSTANT pudding mix, not cook and serve. I'm always amazed that people don't know the difference.

This cake was great and easy to make. If you like pb and chocolate, you will definitely love this cake. The peanut butter clusters are a great decoration but cake is good without them.

I made this cake for Thanksgiving and it went over very well not a piece left over! I did leave off the peanut clusters thou. I've been asked to make it for Christmas.

Scrumptious!!! I made this for our Thanksgiving dinner at church. It was a hit. Even my husband, who is not a chocolate or cake lover enjoyed it. I will definitely make it again.

Wow! This cake was a hit at Thanksgiving! I followed recipe exactly. The icing dripped down the sides a bit, so next time I will not put icing all the way down to the plate because it will drip there after it's in the frig. I've been asked to make this for Christmas. So good!

I used a dark chocolate cake mix and left off the peanut clusters on top. It was excellent.

i made this for a birthday party for a peanut butter cup lover. i sub. the chocolate peanuts with crushed peanut btter cups...but word of caution..GENTLY fold, don't beat the whipped topping. i didn't pay attention to that step and ended up with a thick frosting mess..oops! it still tasted great, but didn't look as pretty as the pic. i got rave reviews at the party. :)
