Quick Mushroom Pork Chops

What You Need

Tbsp. oil

boneless pork chops (1 lb.)

can (10-3/4 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup

1/2

cup milk

Tbsp. KRAFT Zesty Italian Dressing

cups frozen peas

cups hot cooked instant white rice

1/4

cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Make It

HEAT oil in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add chops; cook 4 min. on each side or until browned on both sides.

ADD soup, milk, dressing and peas; mix well. Cook on medium-low heat 4 min. or until meat is done (145°F), stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; let stand 3 min.

SPOON meat mixture over hot rice; top with cheese.

Substitute

Substitute 4 small boneless skinless chicken breasts (1 lb.) for the pork chops. Prepare as directed, increasing browning time of chicken to 5 min. on each side.

Prepare using long-grain white rice.

This is easy and really good. Was a pleasant surprise how good it is. The peas, rice and soup,compliment chops, or chicken just great!

I made this Recipe, my husband and I both loved it. After we tried it once with the pork we decided to try it with chicken, it was fantastic. He said that it's one of his favorite chicken recipes ever.

This was a nice change from the old Cream of mushroom/chicken and rice meals that I have done in the past. The dressing added a nice flavor (I used 4 tbsp. instead of just 3) I also added a few of my own spices when cooking the meat (onion, garlic and pepper). My husband and kids also liked it.

Added more Italian dressing per others comments. I loved the sauce it made and the way it tasted on the rice. Loved it, next time I think I'll do it with chicken.

Made it, ate it, and threw leftovers away. Had to add a lot of salt and pepper to make it edible. Pork chops were very tough...you have to cook alot longer than the recipe says to make them tender. Even thought at one point they were still raw. Dressing got lost in the mushroom soup...could not even taste it. Will not make this one again.
