I remember this recipe as a child in the 50's and it was very popular. I just put fat free cool whip on top of my sugar free jello.

This was SO easy and SO delicious! I'd seen other reviews that it had clumped when using Lite cool whip, but mine turned out great! I also put it in a 8x8 square dish without spraying and it came out just fine. Husband and kids thought it was GREAT! We used strawberry - I can't wait to try other flavors!

This was very easy and so fun to make with my kids!! You get to see the separation right away which made the kids so excited. And, I had all the ingredients on hand!

My entire family loves this recipe. We have made it with different flavors and have enjoyed them all! I use sugar free jell-o and cool whip to make a very pleasing low calorie and low fat dessert. Thank you for a great recipe!!!

For something as simple as this, this was terrific. My girls loved how the jello separated into layers, and my husband and myself loved the "lightness". This is a great dessert and I will be making this into individual servings for my daughter's to take in their lunchbags for school, they will love it!

Just made this dessert tonight for me and my husband. I added some chopped strawberries, beforing putting in the refrigerator. Was very good, it gave it more texture. Also before serving added some whip cream to the top and placed a strawberry on top as a finishing touch.

I made this with cherry flavor. It was wonderful. It does separate. I would totally make this again.

Made these for dessert for after Memorial Day dinner. They went great!!! Everyone loved them! Once they set, they look good, and served with coolwhip, look great!! The strawberry mousse that forms at the top is a little sweeter than regular strawberry jello though. But, still tastes WONDERFUL!!! Thanks!
