JELL-O Magic Mousse

the 1st time it turned out great! everyone loved it, but i've tried to make it a couple of times since and it hasn't turned out. i dont know what im doing wrong. Its not setting up right, all the cool whip is just sitting on top of the jello in a very thin layer, there is no mousse about it. could i be mixing it too much or not enough? <<< Response from Kraft Kitchens Expert, Wendy ~ The Cool Whip should be completely incorporated into the JELL-O, so perhaps you did not mix enough. >>>

i made this step by step NO... suger free OR low fat cool wip.. it came out perfect every one loved it. it was realy good and very light not heavy at all.. i would just use a little lest cool wip just a little so it doesn't come out so hard the next time but it great other than that...

Made this with cherry sugar-free Jell-O. It was NASTY!! There was too much Cool-Whip layer, and the Jell-O mixed in the Cool-Whip gave it an unappetizing texture. Plain Jell-O with Cool-Whip on top is MUCH better! I won't make this again! Sure looks pretty, though!

Made with lite cool whip, didn't turn out that well. Was a little crispy on top, and not enough of the plan jello in the bottom.

I made this magical mousse for Easter and it was yum-o! Actually I made it last year as well using strawberry kiwi jello...refreshing, light, easy! How can you not like anything that has Cool Whip in it! I used the lite version and nobody knew!

To lighten the recipe up, I used sugar free Jell-O and Cool Whip Free. I also used 2 oz shot glasses as my serving glasses. Not only was this a very tasty, eye-appealing dessert. It also fit right into my diet. Thanks.

I think this recipe is cursed. I broke a glass while trying to get it down to put the mixture in and then my wife spilled some of the Jell-O on her white pants. Argh! Tasted very good though.

Great recipe! It brought back old memories when I made this for my children in the early seventies using Dream Whip. I like your recipe using the Cool Whip better. My husband, who is a diabetic, dislikes Jell-o, but he likes your recipe using the sugar-free package. Thanks again for an easy dessert!!!!

Easy to make. Very smooth tasting. Loved by kids and adults. In fact my husband wants me to make it for Easter.
