What You Need

1-1/2

lb. lean ground beef

large green pepper, chopped

large onion, chopped

clove garlic, minced

Tbsp. chili powder

can (14-1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained

1/2

cup water

can (15.5 oz.) kidney beans, drained

1/3

cup A.1. Original Steak Sauce

Make It

BROWN meat with peppers, onions and garlic in large saucepan. Stir in chili powder; cook and stir 1 min.

STIR in tomatoes and water. Bring to boil; cover. Simmer on low heat 15 min., stirring occasionally.

ADD beans and steak sauce; mix well. Simmer, covered, 5 min.

This is one of the best healthy chili recipes that I have found. I loved it and will certainly be making it again. I will also be sharing it with my diabetec nutritionist.

I like chunky chili but this was crazy. Not really a soup. Didn't really taste like chili at all. Maybe would be good over rice though.

The very best chili I have ever tasted especially with the substitution of Robust A-1 Steak Sauce. My family requests this every time now.

It was quick but the flavor was odd compared to other chili recipes that we've tried. A1 is really distinctive and I don't care for too much of it so that is probably why I wasn't a fan. I will stick to our family recipe.

I have made this several times and have enjoyed it. I wish it was thicker but it is always really good :)
