A.1. Fried Chicken Wings

Here's a tasty take on chicken wings—marinated in steak sauce and Creole seasoning, then skillet fried until crispy.

What You Need

1/2
cup  A.1. Original Sauce
2
lb.  chicken wings, separated at joints, tips removed
1
cup  flour
1
Tbsp.  pepper
1
tsp.  Creole seasoning
1
cup  canola oil

Make It

POUR steak sauce over chicken in shallow glass dish. Refrigerate 1 hour to marinate, turning after 30 min. Remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade.

MIX flour, pepper and seasoning in resealable plastic bag. Add chicken, in batches; toss to coat.

HEAT oil in skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken, in batches; cook 10 to 12 min. or until done and golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

How to Make 1 Tbsp. Creole Seasoning
Mix 3/4 tsp. paprika, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. garlic powder, 1/4 tsp. dried basil leaves, 1/4 tsp. dried oregano leaves, 1/4 tsp. onion powder, 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper, 1/8 tsp. dried thyme leaves, 1/8 tsp. ground red pepper (cayenne) and 1/8 tsp. white pepper.
