what you need

cup  (1/2 stick) butter or margarine
cup  POLLY-O Original Ricotta Cheese
cup  KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese
cup  milk
tsp.  black pepper
oz.  fettuccine, cooked, drained

Make It

MELT butter in medium saucepan on low heat. Add all remaining ingredients except fettuccine; stir with wire whisk until well blended. Cook until heated through, stirring occasionally.

PLACE hot fettuccine in large bowl. Add cheese sauce; toss to coat.

Serve this indulgent dish with steamed or grilled vegetables.
Prepare as directed, using one of the following options: Alfredo with Bacon & Peas: Add 1 cup thawed frozen peas and 1 cup OSCAR MAYER Real Bacon Bits to the sauce before tossing with the fettuccine. Primavera Alfredo: Add 1 pkg. (16 oz.) of your favorite frozen vegetable blend to the cooking water for the last 5 min. of the pasta cooking time. Chicken or Shrimp Alfredo: Stir 1-1/2 cups chopped cooked chicken or shrimp into the heated sauce.
