Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made an account just to review this. I made an account just to review this. I LOVE this recipe. I've made it so many times and it's always amazing. I use Boca in place of real meat, add some whole tomatoes, add some other spices (parsley, basil, oregano, sriracha, garlic powder), and I melt a slice of american cheese in right as it's finished. But even made as prepared it's really good. I don't think I'll ever be able to make pasta the "normal" way again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I have made this recipe many times but need to add more Italian seasnoings. I have made this recipe many times but need to add more Italian seasnoings. Really tastes blah without the added stuff. The water dilutes too much of the jarred sauce flavor. Then add all other ingredients. The recipe I have says to put the meat in the skillet, pour the hot water over it and cook, breaking up the meat. (chop meat)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is one of my favorite meals to make in the winter because it sticks to your bones. This is one of my favorite meals to make in the winter because it sticks to your bones. I use ground chicken instead of beef, 2 small cans of mushroom pieces, I sub a jar of roasted rep peppers sliced up instead of the regular red pepper and finally I add a 1/4 cup of Italian dressing when I add the veggies for a boost of flavor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Substitute 16-19 oz HOT italian sausage for the beef, and add a minced clove of garlic. Substitute 16-19 oz HOT italian sausage for the beef, and add a minced clove of garlic. This spices it up nicely (not TOO hot). It's very good! simmer as long as you want to soak up more sauce or be thinner sauce - however you like it. Sure makes the house smell good. We love this!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I loved this recipe and so did my 18 month old daughter, Although she only ate the noodles. I loved this recipe and so did my 18 month old daughter, Although she only ate the noodles. I made mine with garden rotini, Instead of 32 oz of sauce I used 16 oz and can of tomatoe sauce. I have to say I loved the flavor and it was all around a great dish. Thank so much for the idea!!!
