The first time I made it, I did as the recipe says and put the almonds on before going in the oven and they all burned. The next time I made it I put the almonds on half way through the baking time and they did not burn. I have also just toasted the almonds in my toaster oven and put them on when I took the chicken out of the oven. Very delicious and easy to make. Throw in a green salad and you've got dinner!
