  • Cook chicken in 2 Tbsp. dressing in large nonstick skillet on medium heat 4 min. on each side or until evenly browned.
  • Stir in broth, garlic powder and remaining dressing; bring to boil. Cover; simmer 5 min or until chicken is done (165ºF). Remove chicken; cover to keep warm.
  • Add broccoli to skillet; cook, uncovered, 3 min. Stir in rice and 3 Tbsp. nuts. Remove from heat; cover. Let stand 7 min. Serve chicken over rice; top with remaining nuts.

Cook Once, Eat Twice

Cook 4 additional small boneless skinless chicken breasts (1 lb.) in additional 2 Tbsp. KRAFT Tuscan House Italian Dressing on medium heat 5 min. on each side or until chicken is done (165ºF). Refrigerate for later use in making Cheesy Chicken Pot Pie.

Substitute

Substitute 8 boneless skinless chicken thighs for the chicken breasts. Cook on medium-high heat 4 min. on each side or until evenly browned. Continue as directed.

How to Toast Nuts in Skillet

When a skillet dish calls for toasted nuts, there's no need to heat up the oven. Before beginning the recipe, simply toast the nuts for a few minutes in the ungreased skillet on medium heat, stirring frequently just until nuts are lightly browned. Remove nuts from skillet and continue recipe as directed.

This recipe is great because I can get all the broccoli haters in my family to eat it up! We all love it! My daughter requests "chicken with trees!" I do make brown rice in a rice cooker rather than instant white rice.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I was realy excited to try this recipe because the picture looked so good. I was realy excited to try this recipe because the picture looked so good. I followed the instructions carefully and it ended up taking twice as long as it should have. I had to add more chicken broth to the rice because it didn't have enough liquid to cook. Because the rice took longer than expected, the chicken ended up drying out while I was waiting for the rice. I do not recommend this recipe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent meal! Excellent meal! To prevent dried out chicken like others had, I marinated my chicken in the dressing for a few hours before. I also used a lot more in the cooking process'. Doubled the garlic, rice and broccoli for 6 people along with the extra dressing, excellent! I added chicken back in skillet with the rice mix for a few min. to heat back up, good to go!

My husband is a very picky eater and does not like his food mixed but he inhaled this when I made it :) The flavor was good, however, I thought the chicken could have used a little more flavor. I would just use more of the tuscan house dressing when browning the chicken :) It is a simple and delicious dinner!!!

Sort of bland-would add something else like minced garlic or a little splash of worcestershire sauce. Also, not sure how the color of the rice came out brown in the picture because ours was no where near that. If it comes from the browning of the chicken, that is not going to happen in a non-stick pan which is what is directed to use in the recipe.

I couldnt find sliced almonds so I just used whole almonds and put them in the food processor. I also used brown rice and cooked it first then I added it to the recipe. It turned out great!! Yes I would for sure make this recipe again and again.

The next time, we are going to use chikcen planks (tenders) as the chicken was a little too dry for us. Also, the next time we will double the rice mixture. Just not enough for more than two people. Just to darh good!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made this for our Sunday dinner and it was soooo yummy! I made this for our Sunday dinner and it was soooo yummy! It had plenty of flavor as I doubled the recipe! I also used chicken bouillon cubes in 2 1/2 cups of boiling water as my sub for the chicken broth... My Chicken was real moist and the whole family loved it! It will be added to our favorites!
