  • Cook and stir oil, cinnamon stick and cloves in medium saucepan on medium heat 1 min. Add onions and salt; cook 5 min. or until onions are crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.
  • Stir in water, rice and vegetables. Bring to boil; cover. Simmer on low heat 12 min. or until most the water is absorbed. Remove from heat; let stand 5 min. Discard cloves and cinnamon stick.
  • Add nuts to rice mixture; mix lightly.
