  • Pour milk into medium bowl. Add dry pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk 2 min. or until well blended. Let stand 5 min.
  • Stir in oranges and coconut. Spoon evenly into 6 dessert dishes.
  • Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving. Store leftover pudding in refrigerator.

Substitute

Substitute 1/2 cup chopped fresh orange sections, drained, for the mandarin orange segments.

Special Extra

For a more intense flavor, add 1/2 tsp. grated orange peel to the pudding before chilling.

    I have made this recipe a couple of times, but I changed some things such as try it with Bananna Cream Pudding and Pinapple Chunks along with Walnuts, still include the coconut....that is how my family loves it....

    I substituted coconut creme pudding mix for the vanilla & omitted the coconut. Fabulous results! The coconut creme pudding mix is full of tiny bits of coconut, so it worked very well. I added the mandarin oranges as per the recipe & garnished each serving with a long-stem maraschino cherry.
