  • Heat broiler.
  • Mix meat and 3 Tbsp. steak sauce; shape into 4 (1/2-inch-thick) patties.
  • Cook onions and peppers in butter in skillet on medium heat until tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in remaining steak sauce; keep warm.
  • Broil patties, 4 inches from heat, 7 to 9 min. on each side or until done (160ºF), topping with cheese for the last minute.
  • Fill buns with cheeseburgers, onion mixture and tomatoes.

Serving Suggestion

Serve this juicy burger with smart sides, such as a baked potato wedges and fruit salad.

Always be sure to cook ground beef until no pink color remains. Ground beef can host harmful bacteria that are destroyed only by cooking the meat all the way through.
