I'd hoped this recipe would go in my keeper file, but neither my family nor I were wowed by this recipe. I realize tastes are different, but my family likes more flavors than are included here. IF I make this again, I'll add green onions, lots of pepper (maybe even some bell pepper) and mushrooms. The texture was fine, just blah in our opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This recipe was easy to make and delicious. This recipe was easy to make and delicious. I didn't have any fresh parsely but that didn't matter the dish still came out great. The only thing I did different from the recipe was I salt and peppered the chicken thighs overnight in my refrigerator. Other than that the recipe doesn't need a thing. My kids who are 3 and 2 cleaned their plates which was a surprise since they can be finicky. The next time I make this I am going to try and freeze it. It simply is one of those dishes that is easy to make.

I really liked this recipe but I had to make a few alterations since I didn't pay attention to the slow cooking in the crock pot part until an hour before dinner time. But it came out fine on the stove in a skillet. I just added some milk for more liquid. Also I didn't have any wine so I skipped that ingrediant and it still came out good. A very good recipe for company. I'm going to make it again with penne instead of angel hair pasta.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My husband, son and I looove this recipe! My husband, son and I looove this recipe! Its great! I added a few extras when I made it again last night and it was fantastic-better than 1st couple times! For those of you that said it lacked a little flavor, try this. Add couple cloves of minced garlic, dash of salt and pepper, dash of rosemary, splash of milk and 1/4 c parmesan cheese. All I can say is....WOW. Can't wait for lunch today - get to eat the leftovers! :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I used light cream cheese, light zesty italian dressing and cream of chicken soup. I used light cream cheese, light zesty italian dressing and cream of chicken soup. I also added a couple cloves of crushed fresh garlic and 1/2 tsp of herbes de provence. The chicken was a bit dry. I would try it with skinless, bone-in chicken thighs. It was really good, but unfoturnately for me my husband didn't like it at all.

It was edible but we didnt like the flavor. I think I was expected a more creamy alfredo like flavor. My husband didnt go back for seconds which is a big deal because he ALWAYS goes back for more of my dinners. :-)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This dish is lacking in taste. This dish is lacking in taste. The sauce that is made needs more seasoning. I even added seasoned salt, garlic powder, and onion powder, and it still tasted like eating plain angel hair noodles with baked chicken. The chicken was moist, that was probably the best part about the dish. Will NOT make this again!

The first time I made this recipe, I thought I would not make it again, but because I am always searching for slow cooker chicken recipes, i decided to make some changes. I added a pkg of fresh mushrooms, sherry instead of white wine, and more salt & pepper and now it's a keeper and family favorite.
