Angel Food Cupcakes with Fluffy Frosting

Fresh halved strawberries add a nice burst of color to angel food cupcakes topped with fluffy cream cheese frosting.

What You Need

pkg.  (16 oz.) angel food cake mix
1
pkg.  (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1/3
cup  powdered sugar
1/4
cup  milk
1
tub  (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed

 fresh strawberries, cut in half

Make It

HEAT oven to 350ºF.

PREPARE cake batter as directed on package. Pour into 24 paper-lined muffin cups. (Batter will nearly fill cups.) Bake 26 min. or until tops are light golden brown. Cool in pans 10 min.; remove to wire racks. Cool completely.

BEAT cream cheese, sugar and milk in medium bowl with mixer until well blended. Stir in COOL WHIP; spread onto cupcakes.

TOP with berries. Keep refrigerated.

Tint frosting pink with several drops of red food coloring before spreading onto cooled cupcakes.
